Do my engineers need a smartphone to use WorkLane?

Can I see which engineer is assigned to which job?
Yes. The job dashboard shows each job's assigned engineers, current status and last update. You can filter by engineer, status or date to drill into exactly what you need.
Does WorkLane do GPS tracking?
WorkLane does not track engineer GPS location. It tracks job status, costs and updates — which is what most field service managers actually need to stay in control. If fleet GPS tracking is a core requirement, a dedicated telematics platform would be more appropriate.
