Upload photos and files

Attach evidence to a job from a phone or a desktop, and what to photograph so it is actually useful later.

1 min read

Photos attached to the job are your defence in a dispute and your proof for the invoice.

Step by step

  1. Open the job and scroll to Job progress.
  2. Use the file upload area below the update box.
  3. On a phone, that opens your camera or camera roll. Take the photo there and it uploads straight to the job.
  4. You can attach images, video and PDFs, as well as spreadsheets and documents.

Photograph before, during and after. The before shot is the one everyone forgets and the one that settles arguments about pre-existing damage.

Practical tips

  • Include something for scale in close-ups — a hand, a tape measure.
  • Take a wide shot showing where in the property you are, not just the detail.
  • Photograph meter readings, serial numbers and model plates. Someone will want them.
  • Post an update alongside the photos saying what they show. A photo with no context ages badly.
